Facility Reservations

On-Campus Departments and Student Organizations

To ensure the appropriate use of space, athletic and recreational programming needs are prioritized. When available, university departments, individuals and student organizations may . A fee may be associated with reservations to cover overhead costs and to ensure the security of the facility. 

Off-Campus Community Partners

Requests for RecWell and Athletics facilities are available on a case-by-case basis and MUST be made 30 days prior to the requested date. Click below to request use of RecWell facilities.  For all other inquiries, consult the SEU Athletics Department .

Indoor Facilities

The Recreation and Wellness department manages a number of indoor facilities on campus while also sharing spaces with SEU Athletics. Click below for more information about each indoor facility managed by RecWell.

Recreation and Athletic Center (RAC)

The RAC provides much-needed fitness space and support facilities for the entire Hilltop community. Students, faculty and staff enjoy a spacious, contemporary fitness center featuring modern workout stations and equipment, and a wellness center with a lounge, seminar room and offices.

Facilities in the RAC are available to current students, faculty and staff. Guest passes are available for purchase with a sponsoring member of the community.

Located directly across the street from the RAC, the UFCU Alumni Gym offers unique opportunities for students to play recreational sports on the gym floor, use the functional training studio and participate in a spin class.

Outdoor Facilities

RecWell supervises a number of outdoor spaces primarily used by the Club Sports teams and Recreational Sports programs.  

Lower Field

Lower Field

The lower field is located between to the University Operations building and the SEU Baseball Field which border St. Edward's Drive.  The field is home to SEU Club Sports practices and games and is available for external reservations, intramural sports, and special events upon request.  Open recreation is not permitted on the field and use is only permitted when reserved due to the heavy use of the field.

Teresa Recreation Field

Teresa Recreation Field

The Teresa Recreation Field is located directly adjacent to Teresa Hall in the central part of campus.  The field is a bit smaller than a standard soccer field and is available (unless reserved) at all times for open recreation.  This field also has a recreational sand volleyball court attached.  You can find a number of activities happening on this field including recreational play, club sports practices, external reservations, or even outdoor workouts happening on the field.

The Brother Emmett Strohmeyer Tennis Courts are only available during reserved times.  These 5 competitive courts are primarily used by the Club Tennis team and are home to the local tennis organization, .

Outdoor Track image

Lewis Chen Outdoor Track

The Outdoor Track is located in the heart of campus and borders the Lewis Chen Family Field, which is home to the SEU Women's and Men's NCAA D2 soccer teams.  The caliche (small rock/stone) surfaced track is open during daylight hours and is slightly larger than 1/4 mile.  3 3/4 laps walking or running will get you to that 1 mile marker.
