President's Advisory Council for Belonging and Community

Ornate door

The President’s Advisory Council for Belonging and Community (PAC) was and represents the university's next step in shaping a culture of belonging across campus. The PAC will serve as a hub for listening, dialogue, and action.

The council will be co-led by one faculty member and one staff member. The co-chairs will meet monthly with President Montse Fuentes, as well as the Provost and Vice President for Student Affairs and Administration, to ensure timely progress. The council has a total of 14 members, including the co-chairs, and will consist of four students, four staff members, and four faculty members. The council will undergo an annual evaluation of its membership.

The PAC will utilize regular meetings to solicit feedback from members on current initiatives and conversations, and will also seek involvement from others to work on specific projects as needed. Meeting notes will be shared after each meeting to allow representatives to share and gather feedback from their circles of influence.
