General Commencement Questions
Commencement Rehearsal will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 3:45-4:45 pm in the Recreation and Athletics Center (RAC). Graduation Practice will cover the information the flow of the commencement ceremony and answer any questions that you may have. Students do NOT need to bring their regalia to Graduation Practice. *Attending Graduation Practice is not mandatory, but strongly encouraged.

We are pleased to announce the following ceremony times/schools:
3 p.m. Ceremony: The School of Behavioral & Social Sciences (GRAD program), The Bill Munday School of Business (GRAD Program), The School of Behavioral & Social Sciences (UNDG program), the School of Arts & Humanities (UNDG Program), The Bill Munday School of Business (UNDG program) and The School of Natural Sciences (UNDG program).
Students may begin retrieving their Commencement Tickets on Monday, November 10th on the Graduation Ticketing website.

Ticket Information
All guests (anyone who is not a participating student) wishing to attend the ceremony in the RAC must obtain a ticket; this includes children as well. Each participating student will have 5 tickets set aside for family and friends. Tickets are complimentary and no additional tickets can be requested or purchased. These tickets are complimentary and must be claimed online by Thursday, December 11th.
How to Claim Tickets

- Under the "Fall 2025 Commencement - 3 p.m. Ceremony section, click the 'Get Tickets' button
- Click the 'Have a passcode?' button towards the bottom of the page
- Input your SEU student ID number (without the leading zeros) and click 'Apply'
- Select the number of tickets for your party and click 'Checkout' (Exact number is TBD)
- Input your contact information in all required fields, check the confirmation page and click 'Submit Order'
After claiming your tickets, you will receive a confirmation via the email address you entered and your tickets will be attached. Please share them with your guests. Each guest will be required to show a ticket at the door; they can be printed or presented on a mobile device.
Tickets must be claimed by Thursday, December 11th.
Please note: Guests who do not have tickets are welcome to watch the livestream viewing that will take place in the Jones Auditorium in the Ragsdale Center and Carter Auditorium in the John Brooks Williams Natural Sciences Center on a first come, first served basis.
Translation Devices: We are pleased to share that we will be offering the usage of translator devices to ensure that all families are able to enjoy the commencement ceremony. Please note that a driver's license must be presented on commencement day to obtain the device. The driver's license will be returned to the individual in exchange for turning in the translator device.
ADA Seating: To ensure a comfortable and accessible friendly experience for those who will be utilizing wheelchairs and walkers; or, those who are unable to utilize the stairs, we ask that those requiring ADA seating, register in advance.
*Only (1) attendants may be seated with the individual to provide support as the ADA section cannot accommodate entire families.

Purchase of commencement regalia is available in the SEU Bookstore and may be made up to commencement day. Feel free to contact the bookstore with any questions you may have at 512.448.8575.

Commencement Events
GradFest is your one-stop shop for all things commencement. At GradFest, you can purchase regalia, take graduate portraits, order commencement invitations, class rings, pick up academic/affinity group cords/stoles and so much more! This event is a come and go event.
We are also pleased to share that if you are unable to make the GradFest event, you are welcome to stop by the SEU Bookstore from now and up to commencement day to purchase regalia. For graduates who cannot come to campus to purchase their regalia, please email the bookstore at sm8415@bncollege.com; or, feel free to contact them at 512.448.8575 to purchase over the phone. The official link for online purchases should be active within the next 2 to 3 weeks as SEU website upgrades continue.
