  • Discover what makes Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve such a special place, and learn about the exciting work of Wild Basin Creative Research Center. Each hike is led by different staff members, offering their unique perspectives.

  • Learn about the beautiful and ecologically important Texas Hill Country from a certified Master Naturalist.

  • This adult-focused series presents a wide range of topics that always inform and inspire.

  • Work with the Preserve Manager to help maintain a unique and important piece of the Texas Hill Country on a variety of trail and restoration projects.

Host Your Event at Wild Basin

Wild Basin Creative Research Center is nestled close to the entrance of Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve. These 227 acres of beautiful Texas Hill Country provide a delightful and inspiring backdrop for corporate events, nonprofit gatherings, business meetings, or private parties. 

Our Visitor Gallery, located on the first floor of the Creative Research Center, is perfect for social gatherings, classes and workshops. Visitor Gallery rentals include usage of two large wall-mounted smart screens and wi-fi. 

Our Conference Room, located on the second floor of the Creative Research Center, is ideal for small meetings or breakout sessions. This space includes a large conference table with 14 comfortable chairs, plus access to a large wall-mounted smart screen and wi-fi.
